Daye Bensa is a renowned coffee producer in Ethiopia, known for its dedication to quality and sustainability. Founded by brothers Assefa and Mulugeta Dukamo, Daye Bensa has grown to become one of the major coffee exporters in Ethiopia. They operate 16 washing stations and 4 dry mills in the Bensa, Aroressa, and Chire districts of Sidama.

Their coffee is sourced from their own farms and from affiliated  farmers, ensuring a reliable supply chain. Daye Bensa is committed to  environmental conservation and quality, with certifications like  Organic, C.A.F.E. Practices, UTZ, and Rainforest Alliance2. They produce a variety of coffee types, including washed, natural, honey, and anaerobic processed coffees.

Daye Bensa’s coffees are celebrated for their complex flavors and high quality, often scoring highly in specialty coffee ratings. They have a strong relationship-based model with farmers, buyers, and other producers, which helps them continually maintain and improve the quality of their coffee.
